'No. 012 - Olive You' by Sydney Falkner
They say good things come in threes and we see it no differently here. The genius strokes of Sydney Falkner bring such a vibrancy to the work. From the scale itself to the glossiness and faint strokes almost providing reflection. We associate certain items with their 'compliments'. We think of a martini when we see 3 olives, while we order the martini thinking about the olives it must be showing up with. Some might say we're distracted or always in search of more... we call it perfection.

'No. 012 - Olive You'
Sydney Falkner is the artist and designer behind By SYD Studio in Wilmington, North Carolina. With a background in interior design and a lifelong connection to painting, she has always been drawn to how color and art can shape the feeling and soul of a space.
Her work is bold, vibrant, and full of energy, layering unexpected color combinations, expressive marks, and movement in a way that feels distinctly her own. Inspired by places, memories, and the little details that stay with us, Syd paints less about exactly what something looked like and more about how it felt.
Through color, she makes those memories a little brighter, bolder, and more alive.
Dear Nostalgia Project brings that idea to life, turning familiar places and shared memories into art to keep, share, and pass along to the people we love.

The Origin of Dear Nostalgia Project
After nearly 30 years of receiving hand-written postcards from our grandmother every month, we realized a tradition that we needed to pay forward. We're working with local artists each month to create new, exclusive designs and a unique experience of discovery for our writer community. We're also including an extra stamp with each card to spread gratitude in our own way. We're aiming to nourish human connection and sustain personal touch. For the price of a coffee each month, you can provide something technology cannot match.
Welcome to Dear Nostalgia Project.
